Need help with sequence and scenes

Post by zadzad »

hi there im loving working with this piece of software however i have come across 2 issues that im sure can be done however i cant get my head around how to do it.

1. i have set up a sequence and all is running fine however when i stop the sequence is there any way i can get all the fixtures to automatically go to a set scene thats not part of the sequence.

2. if there is no way of doing the above is there any way to do a set scene over ride in the form of a button, to try and explain what i mean as part of a light sow im developing i need to run a sequence that i have programmed and is running fine however at un predicted parts of the show i need to move all the fixtures to a scene that is not part of the sequce, when that is done i need to switch that scene off then go straight back to the sequence, it does not matter if the sequence steps are still running in the background.

thanks for any assistance in advance

Reason: Moved from 'Fixture Files - Help & Support' to FreeStyler Software, and a title fix

Both are possible:

1. When running sequences from the cue, enable the arrow (restore values). That way, when you stop the sequence, FreeStyler restores lights to what you started with.

2. Have a look at the override buttons. They do exactly what you need.
