I've searched through the wiki and through these forums but haven't been able to find any answers to my problems.
A little background...I used fixture creator and ScanLibrary to create a LED moving head fixture since mine wasn't in either library. The problem I am having is I can't get the split colors to show up in the visualizer. For some reason everytime I click on a split color it just shows white on the visualizer, but they work in FS fine. Same goes for the rotation of the gobos. I can see it in FS, but not on the visualizer. Everything else seems to link up fine between FS and the visualizer though.
The bigger problem I'm having right now though is after I create a sequence and save it, add it to the cue window, press play and nothing happens. Then all of a sudden it shows offline mode on the sequence window and a bunch of "off" buttons show up on the lamp, color, gobo, and movement windows. I've tried to change them to snap/fade but it doesn't fix anything. I'm still linked up with the visualizer for movement and color/gobo etc, but can't run any of the shows. Any idea why this is?
Oh and just another quick question, do any of you run Freestyler on the same computer as a DJ program. I only have 1 laptop, it's a macbook pro C2D 2.2 4G RAM, OSX 10.5 running Serato ITCH, and Parallels with Windows 7 which I was going to run FS on.
For now I'm just using my desktop with Windows 7 to test the program out.

Re: Having some issues with FS

you need to close the sequence editor before opening and running any sequences from the cue window. when you have bot windows open the sequence editor will automatically change to offline mode. this means you can program fixtures while running a show. the visualizer will show what you program, but the running sequences from the cue windows is executed on the light connected to the interface (you can see that DMX values still change in the output window)spdj20 wrote:The bigger problem I'm having right now though is after I create a sequence and save it, add it to the cue window, press play and nothing happens.
