Hi there,
I have recently stated using freestyler with the afterglow interface - the aurora 2. Last time I checked there still wasnt a new driver out that will work with freestyler so I'm currently using the Entec USB driver.
My problem is in controlling the scanners. I have had to create the fixtures Chauvet Intimidator 1.0 - 4 ch. gobo/col combined, strobe, pan, tilt. They seem to work fine when just dragging the sliders when i have selected them in the main window. But the problem when I use the pan/tilt window, where I can make the movements.
1st prob
-----------
It doesnt seem to work logically and the pan/tilt is limeted to only moving to the left as you look at it when i move anywhere on the axis.
2nd prob
----------
when i move the dot around the axis as well as the lights partly moving, it effects the gobo on the scanners and dips other lights. - is there a way to select what channels are the pan/tilt???
I have checked the patch on easy view and on freestyler and they are corect with no overlaps
If anyone can make any sence of this that would be great!
Thanks
Phil

Re: Scanner Control
I just posted my fixture file for the scanner.. *it includes the images and everything, try downloading it and seeing if that helps you out. If not check your dipswitch settings.

Re: Scanner Control
Thanks for that. It works perfectly!
Can you think of what I might have done wrong?
Thanks again

Re: Scanner Control
Not sure, maybe your pan and tilt channels were wrong in the fixture file? But I'm happy thats working for you, I forgot to post it on the site until I read your post. Try looking at both fixture files, you might figure out what was wrong with it.
