NEW blackout function :D, can't get it to work

Post by yofo »

Hi, :D

I have problems making that blackout to work in v3.3.1
I have created my group and added my laser into it with difficulties, but it's in...
No I go to the sound to light button and 2 things pop up, the S2L module and the little box that says and on that box I selected the group with my laser in, and ticked on the box that says "Blackout if no sound is detected" and I also ticked on the "enable group" and I changed the time to 200ms, just for a test, and then I go to the "Submasters" button and then I press play on my cue after selecting the sound to light speaker box and those other stuff like "release all and disable override buttons" but there is no black out, am I doing something wrong here?

You should try if your laser responds to a manual blackout first. If that does not work, testing with the S2L together with the auto blackout won't work either. The solution would be to modify the fixture profile I guess.
Manual blackout can be enabled by pressing the 'Toggle blackout' button in the toolbar.

Yea, I've noticed that after the test, the blackout doesn't work either, only the pause "Freeze" works, lol

I think you need to fill in the intensity channel or something like that.
