The story is about a medical device called "ReWalk". It's a robotic exoskeleton that allows people with spinal injuries to walk again. Patients are outfitted with a backpack that senses their upper body movement, and a computer controls servo mechanisms in the exoskeleton to let them rise out of a seat, take steps on level ground, climb stairs, and sit down again.
My friend is one of the technicians doing clinical testing for the device, and he's one of the assistants in the video. They are in the process of getting approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) so they can eventually sell it. I think they should make it ten feet tall, add armor and automatic weapons, then sell it to the military or even police departments across the US.
