Hi,
I would like to create a sequence but not making it manually but with another program which is generating the file. In the end I would like to import this file to freestyler. It is a contemporary dance project where I have to program weird light rhythms and I am not willing to do it manually.
The problem is I cannot read the sequence-file. Do you have any experience with that? Or do you know somebody who knows the format of this file?
Perhaps there is another way? Using Midi could be another way. It is really simple: one light, on/off. Does freestyler have this opportunity to controll fixture-attributes by midi commands?
Thanks in advance for your help and understanding.
Best,
Johannes

Re: Programming Sequences
I have no idea how the sequence file is put together. Maybe Raph can document that format.
I think it might be possible using midi, but since I don't use that, I can't really know that for sure.
Another option is using the SendMessage interface. I believe its possible to 'override' channel values. You can make a computer program that uses the SendMessage interface to control the lights.
