Is there a way to step your way through the shape so I can save the steps as I go? Not sure if this even makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JR

No, that won't be possible.

Re: Shapes to Steps
So, if you can not go through and save the steps of a shape, what use is it? Is there another method to do this?
Thanks,
JR

Re: Shapes to Steps
I misunderstood your question. You can save a shape to one step in a sequence, and then run it from the cue window.AnB Audio wrote:So, if you can not go through and save the steps of a shape, what use is it? Is there another method to do this?

But what you can't do is save the shape as een range of steps, representing that shape. A shape only fits in one step. Running that step in the cue window, starts the shape as you made it.
To do so:
Open the sequence window, select the fixture, generate some nice shape, save the (one step) sequence and add it to the cue, then start that cue. Thats it.
You can make sequences with multiple steps. Every step then has its own unique shape.
