I updated my FS to Version 3.2.1
Now a selfmade Fixture [Futurelight SC-980 (8-Bit)] which was working in former 2.9x and 3.0x Versions causes an error-message like:
"Filetypes incompatible"
Can U give me a Hand - Whats the matter?

You can Upload your fixtures as attachments to your posts so there is no need to supply email details Please post any fixtures in the download forum if you require help please contact an Admin/Moderator.

Im not sure what is going wrong.
Did you try opening your fixture file in the fixture creator and re-saving it?

Step 1: Get the "original" file from my USB-Backup
Step 2: Open the file & resaving it.
Step 3: Restored a BackUp of my Notebook (Lighting / v3.01) to my PC (PreProgramming / v3.2.1)
Step 4: = Step 2
Step 5: Again, open the file & resaving it - this time after removing some zeros in Channel-# & editing some values ...
... nothing worked ...
I have to leave now, otherwise I d try to apply a new fixture

can you upload the pff file for the fixture you have issues with? then we can check if we have same problems

I think i have found the problem.
Open the file in Fixture creator and go to the fan "2nd colorwheel"
there is not selected any picture file for DMX Value 85 and 100, and i get a "Type mismatch" in freestyer when trying to add the fixture.
find some picture files for the two dmx values, save, and it works
By The way: Did you know you can right click on the table and choose "Auto generate values" ???? , well I just find out. its a time saver

"Type mismatch" ist the right Translation: on my PC I got only the german error-msg, while my notebook showed me actually exactly that message! (... until I selected some PICs ...)
For your information:
Colorwheel 2 values 85 / 100 are CTCs (5600K / 3200K), I found out that CTC-Pics are implemented (now).
ps: "auto generate values" seems to be a powerful feature =)
