RGB Leds chosing Color for Channel

Post by spacerat »

hello all,

first of all, sorry for my bad english ;). i have bought 4 lightmaxx par 64 leds, after i made a fixture for it, they worked fine (will upload it soon, if there is no error in the code). i managed to use my par leds in the dmx400, the color fading is fine but i have a little problem! i want to fix the color i choose (from the colors window) to one of the chanels. i dont managed it yet. everytime i selected e.g. red for channel one, and blue for channel two and start the chaser, the leds are choosing her own colors to fade to the program.

how can i managed that the dmx400 only "plays" the colors i choose? the vivid colors are nice but sometimes i want to "play" my own colors ;)

i try this things yet:

choose my colors and checkt "disable color changing" - wont work
choose my color and checkt "all same color" - wont work
choose my color and checkt "disable color changing / vivid colors" - wont work

and some more ;)

i get crazy on this, is there any way to fix my colors (e.g. blue on channel 1+3 and red on channel 2+4) and get them to work in dmx400?

greetings

If you want one (or more fixtures) to be fixed on 1 color, just make a one step sequence, set the fixture(s) to the color, save the sequence, add to override button and press the override button. The fixture(s) will become (and stay) that color.

If you want to chase multiple colors, with colors your own choice then don't use DMX400. But make your chases yourself by creating a sequence with several steps using the colors you like. Then add that sequence to the cue window and start it from there.
