Hi,
I'm trying to select an image background but when I click on the menu and click Background, the whole application closes.
Anyone else experienced this?

Are you using the curent version of Freestyler (3.0.1)? or is it the 2.96d you have wrote in the "Edit profile" page?
If it is the old one i would recomment you to update to 3.0.1 and see if the crash still happens

Hi,
Sorry I am using the latest version - forgot to update my profile!
I have sorted the problem - When I first installed freestyler I was using a monacore adaptor (well trying to) and I tried setting the program compatibility to Windows 2000 (running under Vista).
I reset that option back to default and it is working fine.
