Midi Setup

Post by Kai-Uwe »

Just playing a litte bit arround with FS and my new Netbook :P .
The probs. with the size of the Touchscreen is dicussed in an other topic...

Also found something very interesting thing in an other topic here. Named Audiobox and Midiyoke.

It looks like both thinks are working fine with FS. But there is a small problem to set up FS in the Midi-Section.
To set up the Midi-Channels you have so send the disired Midi-Note to FS and then assign them. That works fine!

But with Audiobox you cant sent only one Midi-Note for a longer time to set it up in FS. You have to playback some Music thru audiobox and it will send different Midinotes very fast one after the other. That is Ok in case that the Frequencys in the Music are also changing. No probs. anything is working fine. But: you cant set them up in this way in FS. The Notes are changing toooooooo fast.....

So my queststion is: Is there a way to set up the Midi-Notes in FS one by one manually? To select the Field where the Notes are standing in and type them in dont work.

Find out that you can export the Midi-Setup File and edit it manually with an editor. But that is difficult..cause the lines are not named so you have to count out many things. That should not be the way i want... :-(

Uhhh---hope you understand my bad english...

Greetings Kai-Uwe
