I have created a sequence that just changes the colour of some led par cans. when i test it in the sequence editor it works fine (looking at it in easy view), i then saved it and assigned it to an override button, but when i use that it just comes up with the first step and displays exclamation marks in blue triangles by the fixtures.
what am i doing wrong?
cheers in advance

Re: Sequences and Override buttons
Your not doing anythging wrong.
Overide buttons only run the first step in any sequence. If you want to run multistep sequences then you need to use the cue window.
The blue triangles normally mean that you are overriding a fixture and may need to use the release all button to resume normal service.

Re: Sequences and Override buttons
Exactly the same as flash buttons on a real console, and many more as LJ_Krede said.paull wrote:So what is the most common use of the override buttons then?

Re: Sequences and Override buttons
Think of them as programmeable flash / latch buttons that can be used to overlay onto sequences to change one or all the currently running attributes.
Or completly change that state of the show or trigger a fogger. Really lots of reasons to use them and loads of flexibility.
