2 Behringer BCFs and 1 Novation Launchpad at the same time?

do you think it is possible to connect 2 Behringer BCFs and 1 Novation Launchpad at the same time with freestyler?

how many external controls can be connected at the same time max?

In theroy it can be done but FS can only see 1 device at a time. So what you would need to do is connect the first device to your pc and any other devices would need to talk through the first device or via a midi hub (if that exists).
Remember that midi has only 127 notes and 16 channels. You could max this out on 1 bcf2000.

Im quite interested in what results you get using 3 devices so let me know how you get on.

i thought about using one bcf to quickly access the moving lights, the other bcf to correct intensity of the front truss pars and flash acls and blinders.

the launchpad is just to trigger the sequences similar to the martin lightjockey touchpanel.

i'm working for a cover/party band and want to trigger pre-programmed cues to the fix setlist. but because it is a live show, where they also interact with the crowd and just entertain them, i need to have quick hardware access. i don't have the budget to buy some licon so i try to find an alternative.

You can probably do all you want from 1 bcf2000. But 1 bcf2000 and a launchpad could be very interesting.
Do you have both of these or are you thinking about making a purchase ?

i already have 1 bcf2000 i use since 1 year and i really don't want to miss it.

i just don't want to skip pages so often therefore the second bcf which is easily cascadable. just for my comfort.

unfortunately the launchpad doesn't have a midi port to send data via bcf. i don't know if there is any kind of software midi merger.

another option is to use the touchpanel-view of freestyler but the price for an adequate touchscreen is about the same as for the launchpad, which definitely gets the style points. anyways i prefer buttons as i like the feedback to my fingers. and navigating with a mouse is no fun at all.

I think MIDIOX and MIDI Yoke is the solution of your issue.

sounds great. this might be the solution.

i try to get a second usbtomidi interface and then try to merge it with my bcf2000. if this is possible, i'll have to order the launchpad immediately.

but i'm interested in the latency of the software.

Why do you need this? BCF has both midi 5pin and also usb which will send midi direct to your pc without the need of an adapter.
