OK a couple of questions.
if you store your movements in sm 1 what effect does the sm intensity slider have on the cue.? does this fade in the cue. ie all the lights will go from 0,0 start position to cue position as you raise the slider. if so will the shutter be open.
how do you impliment gentle fades between cues. do you have to sart with a fade time in the sequence, and will this affect the first scene?
do you have to store all your movements with the beam off or turn shutter off when recording cues for sm 1 so the sm 4 intensity will work. ?
sm2 colour, again how do you turn off positions for the beam when storing colour channel information only. or will the fact that it is SM2 mean that the priority being lower than sm1 means only changed channel information will be used ie HTP.

Re: Submaster intensity. Tutorial questions
The intensity slider control the intensity channel of your fixtures only. if tou have a SM with programmed movement (pan/tilt channels) the slider have no effect.richard csl wrote:if you store your movements in sm 1 what effect does the sm intensity slider have on the cue.? does this fade in the cue. ie all the lights will go from 0,0 start position to cue position as you raise the slider. if so will the shutter be open.
When you are programming your sequencesm in the "create sequence" window, you can configure the fade and step time for each step. when you are running the sequence in the cue window you can adjust the overall fade and step time by the slider to the left.how do you impliment gentle fades between cues. do you have to sart with a fade time in the sequence, and will this affect the first scene?
when you are programming movements make sure that all other channels you dont want to program is set to "Off". the channel you want to program has to be "Fade" or "Snap" . these "Off", "Fade" and "Snap" buttons appears when you have opend the "create sequence" next to each slider/buttons.do you have to store all your movements with the beam off or turn shutter off when recording cues for sm 1 so the sm 4 intensity will work. ?
the SM uses LTP. use same method as described above, but here it is the movement which has to be on "OFF"sm2 colour, again how do you turn off positions for the beam when storing colour channel information only. or will the fact that it is SM2 mean that the priority being lower than sm1 means only changed channel information will be used ie HTP.

Re: Submaster intensity. Tutorial questions
Also have you looked at the Submaster and Cue tutorial I made ?
I need to make some changes to it as I now have a list of problems with it but I could prove to be quite helpful to you.
