Hey everyone, I just got finished lighting a concert for a locally originated (but still globally touring) artist by the name of Brother Ali. I lit the entire show (Ok, the intelligent fixtures) with Freestyler.
Controls:
Freestyler with 2 Behringer BCF-2000's and Enttec DMX USB Pro.
ETC Smartfade (For the conventional fixtures).
Fixtures:
5 Martin SmartMACs
4 Chauvet Colorado 1s
4 Chauvet Colorado 3s
2 American DJ LED PAR64s
6 S4PARs
5 Fresnels
2 Source Four 36 degrees
1 Follow spot
1 PAR64
And 1 La Maitre Radience hazer.
I just want to say !! I was able to program the entire show (all while joking around with the rest of the crew etc) in four hours in such a way that I could mix and match playback to be unique and adapt to a live performance. This was my first show using Freestyler to control lights (outside of my basement), and it was tons of fun. Freestyler made it look great, and made it easier on me.
Here are some images of the show, sorry I didnt just use img tags, but they are HUGE pictures and I don't feel like resizing
