Looking at your screenshot makes a few things clear:
1. You are using PAR spots, now look really good to the litte screen where you selected "Random DMX values". See the list of channel type that are randomized. (Gobo, Color, Pan, Tilt). What should that do to PAR's? Nothing. You can't use pars on a random DMX value. So they do nothing, the way it is intended.
2. The triangle mark, shows that you have overridden its value by hand. So it wil stay at that value (like off), no matter what happens else, until you release the override. In your case would n't make a difference, because S2L->Random DMX->Par would never work. Use a light with pan/tilt/gobo or color control to do the test.
If you want PAR spots to react to sound, create a little sequence doing some things. Add that sequence to the cue, enable S2L there, start the sequence in the cue, start S2L and off you go.
