Velleman K8062

I can't get my Velleman K8062 to work in Vista. Once connected to USB it gives me a constant light on the 'DMX' led, and no DMX out. When used with XP, it just used to just flash at a constant rate, and work fine. I know freestyler is compatible with Vista, but maybe we should draw up a short list of interfaces that dont work.

Anyone come up with a cure? Or any suggestions for a new (fairly cheap) interface that works in Vista?

Heard no problems about the Enttec Open DMX which is mighty fine cheap!

Te interface worked fine (by me atleast).

Used it last friday on a small disco party.

Ok, I've plugged it back into my laptop running XP, and the DMX light still stays constant. So I think its broke! I've ordered the quickest USB-DMX device I could get off ebay, the 'Afterglow Aurora-2 PC DMX Interface'. See if that serves me better.

Check the Drivers. Go do Device Manager and make sure the driver is installed correctly.
