Pan/Tilt Window

Post by dustin »

Hello,

just a small question.
Is it possible to change the background image (matrix) of the p/t window?

My idea is to create several backgrounds for several locations and place them into this window. So you could insert static points (for example: mirror-balls) of this location and move the light with one click to it. Of course - you must place the lightning elements each time at the same place.

I hope you understand what my conception is ...

Greetings, Dustin

I think that would not work. Suppose you have a background image with that mirror ball. That location would just be correct for only 1 fixture. A second fixture, hanging on some other place, maybe even direct next to it, would shine to the wrong place. Especially when it is another brand or model.
So you question should be: can I assign a background image in the p/t window for every fixture. (so you need to create such a thing per fixture).

I doubt it is ever gonna work. But maybe you are helped with the presets that are available in the sequences window?
In fact, it does what you want and can be on a per fixture base.

Remco, I think you're right. I just thought on one fixture, not on two ore more. So I will take a look on the presets and sequence. Just another point of Freestyler that I never touched before ... ;)

No.
You could try sent a change request. Maybe Raph picks it up.
