If you have selected a (wrong) interface in setup and starts Freestyler with the interface disconnected you get this error. Connect the interface you have chosen in setup and try to start freestyler again. if that dont work you may have to install the driver for the interface (again)

I got an error on startup, and it was purely down to the face i had selected my usb device, but hadn't connected it yet.
I used the program with no USB DMX interface at first, (i hadn't built it yet! ;) so i went back into setup and selected
''no interface'' from the dmx list, no more error, now i have the interface connected, i no longer get the error message.
If you have your device connected, as LJ_krede said, reinstall driver.

The program is great, hopefully you can get it working.
