Can't turn on Shapes

I have a problem with the shapes. I had a minor system crash and had to re-install freestyler. All my fixture files etc where fine and the shapes worked fine before the re-install. I can move the fixtures manually with the little ball, however, I can not change the shapes on/off button from the off setting. Again, everything worked fine before the re-install. All my sequences etc are still the same and there and all work fine except the shapes. Any ideas what to check????

i have the same problem on an normal fresh install. everythings works fine except turning on shapes. i can turn the button from "off" to "on" but there`s no movement of my fixtures. please help ...
