Fixture Creator for Acme Dynatwin Dual Scanner

Hi Guys,

I am trying to get my acme dynatwin to work with freestyler and velleman k8062 interface, the interface is talking to the acme dynatwin but the acme dynatwin is not reacting to any of the commands it is told to do?

Would it be possible for someone to create a new fixture profile for the Acme Dynatwin?

if this is the case it might not be the fixture which is the problem, but I'm not 100% sure. even if you have created the fixture wrong, the Dynatwin should get some kind of DMX signals.

Try to do this.

1) First, check that your fixture is set to the correct nummber of DMX channels, use the fixture creator to do this.
2) Be sure the fixture in freestyler is set to same adress as the Dynatwin ( Setup --> Add/Remove Fixture )
3) in freestyler main window click on Edit --> Show Output
4) Now, select the fixture and move the sliders at the right to change dmx values
- You should see that the values in the "show output" window is changing for the certain channels. If not, then there might be something wrong with your fixture
- If the values for the channels is changing and the Dynatwin not reacting at all, then the problem is not in Freestyler nor the fixture. are you sure that your interface have to Freestyler and the Dynatwin, try to set other light on the daisy chain and see if you can control them.
