JPK USB-DMX

Post by micron1 »

I have a JPK USB-DMX interface which is listed in Freestyler, but I do not have a windows driver for it. I have not received a reply from the JPK people. Does anyone have a windows XP driver for this DMX device?
Thanks in advance!!!

Hello, I had the same problem. You need to get the drivers from the FTDI website. I had to modify the drivers so they had the same VID and PID as the interface. It is hard to reach JPK Systems, their e-mail is jpk@jpk.co.nz , not what is shown on their site. Jason Kyle seems to be a very helpful, and intelligent guy, he will get back to you, but it takes a day or so. Another option is FTDI's Mprog file, it is a very useful program that allows you to reprogram the interface with a different serial # and VID and PID #'s to match the driver. If you have any problems please e-mail me bikeboy@ptd.net I will dig up all the things you need if you can't find them. Hope this helps you! Roger.
