Hey everyone i have been digging through your forum and it seems you all have some skills and knowladge of Freestyler. Well i am pretty new to concert lighting and control etc... I would like to know what the easiest way to get started in pc lighting control. I would like to use my macbook currently i am using my pc to get used to the different softwares. I want to know what interface should i get and software. Also Is the a user manual for freestyler. Basically any advice you guys can give me will be appreciated

Thanks for the info, i am not as much concerned about running it on my mac as i did read the post about that so i do have that option. Do you know of any easy and simular software to freestyler thats mac based? Where can i get started learning how to cue and do strobes and fade.. etc. the Whole deal as i am a sound engineer so lights are something i am just getting into. I want to find effective yet simple software and create some lighting controls that i can just cue with my keyboard. The band i work for just played a show at a venue in kansas and the sound guy had his laptop set up to control the lights by pressing a key to the corresponding light function he had programmed. So that basically is what i would like to be able to do. Is set my laptop up and be able to bring it with to shows and run my own lights as i know the band, music, etc...
