Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
I have to be able to hit various parts of a stage with lights at different times during a show. Is there a way for me (using Freestyler) to simply program each scene, and then click a particular button (or buttons) to make the light go to each scene?
Example.
I want to make two lights aim towards the center of the stage. Then, with the press of a button, make those lights now aim towards the front of the stage.

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
Yes, and it works JUST like you typed.
1. Make the scene
2. Save it, and check the 'add to buttons'
3. Open the override buttons form and press the corresponding button to enable the sequence.
4. If you want, you can assign a key of your keyboard to each button.
The same goes for cue's if you have sequences with more than one step.
See the help for more information, its all there.

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
Mhhh... for me pressing on the button after assigning a scene does nothing. The LED-style image above the button starts to glow but nothing more.3. Open the buttons form and press the button.
4. If you want, you can assign a key of your keyboard to each button.
And concerning No.4: Could you please describe this a bit more. I haven't discovered the place in Freestyler where you can assign keys to buttons...

Override buttons, open the window and right click on top, drag and drop a sequence in a button. the button will play the first scene of the sequence you create.
About create the sequence, the first scene is like you said... bla...bla...

What 'first' problem? As I see it now you should be able to do what you want?burzelmann wrote:Many thanks!

Please go ahead and read the help file first (specially about the override buttons "Programmable override buttons"), before coming back here. What you want is dead easy and far from rocket science.
I can't explain my steps more simple than I already did. All you need to do is press the right buttons and keys.

When you say, "save a scene" are you talking about doing this by opening the little window that allows you to crete cues. you know the one. That's where toy make a scene, and hit the little "+" sign. Is this what you are referring to.
With all the YOUTUBE availability, I wish we could all post tutorials on Freestyler. I bet it would increase the popularity of it 1000% . I certianly enjoy having it.

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
Thank you. So... essentially, I'm creating a ONE scene cue and saving it (and adding it to the buttons).
Geez... Why do I make things more complicated than they are.
Thanks

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
I have the same problem with the over ride button just having the LED light glow, but lights don't do anything when I click on the override button. I read this:
"Override buttons, open the window and right click on top, drag and drop a sequence in a button. the button will play the first scene of the sequence you create."
and followed but when I click on the button to start, next to the lamp and color wheel windows or the led color splash jr.'s I'm trying to control, there appears little blue triangles with exclamation marks in them. When I click on them, they go away, but stll the override button doesn't work. I also read the help guide in Freestyler and ricght clicked on the button of the override I'm trying to use and clicked on disable all other buttons to see if that would work, but no go.

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
I also just tried right clicking on the fixtures I have in the override button and selecting "release Override settings" but trhe only change I see now is when I click the override button off, the first light in the sequence goes off, and when I click it again to turn the override button on, the first light in the sequence comes on, but the sequence doesn't play.

Re: Does Freestyler allow one button scene access?
I've been rereading this post several times and correct me if I'm wrong, but do the override buttons only function as a single scene cue? Meaning they only display the first scene only in a sequence or preset?
