Enttec Open USB -> DMX. Help Please.

Has anybody had any success in persuading their computer to visulise the DMX?
If so, a short 'how to' would be mch apprieated.

Visualize to what? Sunlite 3d easy view or using the Enttec open USB to DMX?

That will teach me for posting late at night.

What I actually want to achieve is visualising an incoming DMX line, ie, my lights are going to be controlled by a lightning desk and I would like to see if I could take an output from a slit and run into my Enttec Open USB DMX with a sex changer and visualise the lights that way.
I hope thats clear now.

Lighting Desk -> DMX Splitter -> Open USB -> Computer

Nope, that wont work.
The Enttec Open DMX is an output only device.

what about the Enttec USB DMX Pro`? it has an input for DMX, maybe that will work with magic 3d but have never tried it?

i thought it was possible to do both it just hasnt got that extra in connector, plus its an open device so you could re programme it to do it lol?

Not true.

Stick a gender bender on it and it becomes a DMX IN device. Trust me, I know someone who has done it.

However not sure if 3D easyview will use it or not.
