SGM Idea Spot 250 fixture

Post by kingmania »

Hi, sorry … but I do not know where to beat my head:
I bought 2 SGM IDEA SPOT 250 that you can see at this link http://www.sgm.it:80/prodotti.asp?co_id=1075 but I discovered that in Freestyler DMX does not have the fixture. On the site of the SGM are just download the version for mixer lights only. I contacted them and told me that the fixture I have to do alone with the Fixture Creator.
Honestly, I tried but I am not just where to start. Please can you help me? Anyone can do to me?
Sorry my bad english …
Thank you

Then start the fixture creator, create a new fixture, give it the right name and fill in the proper values in all the fields like pan, tilt, color, gobo, etc.
For reference use, open another moving head fixture to see how other people did it.
But, its not that hard. With basic knowledge of the DMX protocol and how stuff works, this should not be a problem to do.
Save the fixture, (re)start FreeStyler and your fixture is there in the list. Add it as a new unit, assign the proper address and try it out.
