Hello, I am hoping someone can help or tell me what I am doing wrong. I decided to upgrade some lights. I removed the old ones from the location file, via add remove fixtures. When I go to open any sequence that they were in to program in the new lights in, I get a "subset out of range error" and it will not let me open the sequence in the sequence editor. the new lights have completely different addresses than the ones I removed. If I just add the lights and keep the ones I am no longer using in the location file, I can edit the sequence and add the new lights in, Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong? I am using 4.1.7 thinking I am missing something obvious.
Thanks!
Paul

Re: remove fixture from sequence can no longer edit it
Please report this via the Bug Tracker / Feature Request.
I do not think you are doing anything wrong. Until the issue is addressed (which may be quite some time) move the old fixtures out of the way, add the new fixtures. Edit your sequences to remove the old fixtures and add the new ones. After all of your sequences are edited then you can use add/remove fixtures to remove the old lights. I think this should work.

Re: remove fixture from sequence can no longer edit it
Oh thank you, that is a good idea, I will try that. I appreciate your input and help as always! by removing the old fixtures from playback do you mean just setting all the channels to 0 and keeping that address open? It is funny, it seems like the row in the add remove fixtures list is tied to the sequence as well. If I add the old fixture back into the list, but not in the same spot I still cannot edit the sequence.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: remove fixture from sequence can no longer edit it
There is an option (see the attached JPEG) to remove selected fixtures from the Sequence. Click on options.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
