Add Fixture in scene savaed

Post by leandrox364 »

I have motion scenes with one saved fixture.

I bought a new, identical fixture, and now I want to use the same scenes and add this new fixture, but I can't.

Will I have to record all the scenes again just because I added a new fixture?

I just want this new fixture to work just like the previous one with the same recorded movements.

Can anyone help me?

If you want your new fixture to perform the EXACT same recorded movements (pan, tilt, focus, zoom, color, strobe, intensity, ...) then configure your new fixture with the same number of channels and the same address as your existing fixture. This works provided, to repeat myself, that you want your new fixture to perform EXACTLY as your existing one.

In my case, the colors may change, so I can't put them all on the same channel.

It would be great if I could simply add a new fixture to the existing scene and have it receive the entire configuration.

Thanks in advance.

When the Sequence Editor is open, under the Fixture Menu at the top of the screen there are options to copy and paste either all channel values or the pan/tilt values.
