Synchronizing a song
Other than using a generic beat trigger, is there any capability to synchronize lights to a specific song, that would 'link' the song (either MP3 or .WAV) to a lighting program?

An example of this in the residential market is software such as LIght-O-rama which you physically go beat by beat and set channels to. They currently have their own boards which can act as DMX or they have their software capable of controlling DMX channels. I was hoping for similar DMX specific software, or better yet that functionality in freestyler.
For those not familiar with Light-o-rama, their website is www.lightorama.com.
As an aside, I was just down in Disney and spoke to one of the show techs concerning the Osbourne light show. They use over 900 channels of DMX using one of the Hog products.

Re: Synchronizing a song
Andre, you mis-understand my question. I use LOR. I have 2 16 channel boxes and 2 8 channel boxes. I take an MP3 or a .wav file and load it into the software. I then create 1/10 second intervals throughout the entire song and map each channel to that 1/10 interval for the duration. A waveform shows on top of the screen and the channels show below it.
My question: Is there a way in freestyler to do this function. Breaking up a song into 1/10 second intervals and programming a step for each of those intervals.
The key would be that both the song and the sequence triggers at the exact same time every time so that all the effects stay in synch with that particular version of the song.
