I bought
this USB to RS485 adapter and I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong in Freestyler or the device is malfunctioning.
I plugged it in and used the FTDI drivers and it shows it in the device manager as a serial com port, but I can't get Freestyler to see it when trying to setup the Enttec Open DMX interface.
Is there something special I need to setup with the device manager settings for it, or do you think this is broken?

Make sure that you have correct cable xlr Data+ Data- GND.
