2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
Any help will be appreciated. Using Freestyler v3.6.49 with the Enttec Open DMX USB. All fixtures function properly, independent of software. Cables are OK. DMX channel settings are verified. I have 5 fixtures daisy chained. The first and last fixtures are moving heads. I can only manually control the movement of the moving heads, cannot turn on color or control gobo. Can't control anything on other 3 fixtures. Connected just one moving head but same result. Moving head fixture profile is from software. I created the other 2 fixture profiles.
ADJ fixtures
2-Inno Spot Pro (moving head)
2-Dotz Brick 3.3
1-Dekker LED

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
First, compare the starting address of the fixtures to what you specified in Freestyler to be sure they match.
Do any of the fixtures contain an indicator (perhaps a small LED) that verifies the fixture is seeing the DMX signal? I have had instances where the DMX interface did not properly initialize and thus no signal was being sent to the fixtures.
If you Export the fixture definitions (via the Fixture Creator) and upload/post them to this discussion we can look at the definitions. PDFs of the user manuals (or links to them) would be helpful.

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
Thanks for getting back so quickly. Fixture addresses match in Freestyler.
Two (Inno Spot Pro) have their DMX LED on.
Two (Dotz Brick 3.3) have the LCD showing DMX mode, address, and channel mode.
One (Dekker LED) has an LED screen showing DMX mode and address.
When I power up the fixtures they are in demo mode. As soon as I start Freestyler all fixtures go black and into DMX mode.

Could only upload 5 files. Here is the Dotz Brick 3.3 file.

Hej.
In the Dotz Brick you miss the intensity channel.
Also I would put 0 in the strobe channel as "off" value and 1 as "low"
The strobe "off" value is also valid for the Dekker fixture.
You can see what FreeStyler sends on all channel by opening the "Output" -> "Show output"
And if you fixture profile don't match 100% then you can use the sliders in right side of FreeStyler there you have direct contact to each channel.

Now I just have to adjust the sliders manually to get the right effect.

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
Last question. I can now control all the fixtures manually, using the sliders. Before I adjusted the sliders, the S2L feature was controlling the fixtures in the software window (could see colors changing, fixture icons highlighted) but not the physical fixtures (The Inno Spot Pro fixtures were physically moving). What has to be done to get the physical fixtures to be controlled?

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
I am not using S2L so no idea.
If you can see that the color is changing on fixture icons then open the "Output" window and see what happens on the color channels for these fixtures.
Just to clear that FreeStyler actually send the values to the color channels to the failing fixtures.
Normally if the color on the fixture icon shifts then the output also shifts meaning sends the values.
So therefor check the output window.

The icons are no longer reacting. OK. Thanks again. I'll create another post regarding the S2L.

I have modified you fixture a bit.
Have a look.
You can change the images for the macros but if you do so then please upload it here again to share it with others.

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
Thanks, got it. Now I understand the "Macros" tab and I'm going to apply to the Dotz Brick. By adding the "Custom sliders", is that to give better control of those two channels?

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
I modified the Dotz Brick definition. The manual states: When Channel 4 is being used between the values of 240-255, Channel 5 will control sound sensitivity. I set channel 4 to 240 then adjust channel 5 but it has no affect on channel 4 via audio. The manual also states: When Channel 4 is being used between the values of 136-239,
Channel 5 will control the speed of the programs. This does function properly. The Inno Pro and Dekker LED are reacting to audio via a Virtual DJ Freestyler plugin but not the Dotz Brick. Here is the Dotz Brick definition.

Re: 2 out of 5 fixtures partially functioning
Thinking about it further, that sensitivity may be for the fixture microphone.

Yes it is for build-in microphones.
And you still miss to fill in channel 6 on the "intensity channel"
Here it is
