BUG: Monacor DMX-510USB crash Freestyler

Hi to all !

First, yes i try the BUG Bottom on top but it still not work since the Sever travelt.

I have a Monacor DMX-510USB interface and when i use FS newer than 3.5.9 ( wiht 3.5.9 it works) FS crasch.

Some tips ? ( Use a other Interface or something ? )

Crash on XP (SP3) and Win10(64bit ) I try to use FS in compatible Mode in 7 and XP still crash.

I try it with 3.6.1 and the new build.

I had similar Monacor and I had the same problem on Win7 x64 until I installed version 3.6.31. It's the latest version in which its working fine with that DMX-USB.

Hello,

Monacor 510 is not working in versions after 3.6.31. I have the same problem like some other users too. Today I reported a bug in FreeStyler Bug Tracker and hope the problem will be solved soon.

Please let me know if you have got new experiences with this problem or a workaround.

I stopped using Monacor altogether and I bought DIY Art-net interface from local seller (blackout.sk). It is working like a charm. No flickering, no problems (which I had with Monacor).

what problems did you have with Monacor?

I have had problems with random light flickering-blinking (tested with pars, heads, bars, dimmers). Problem was caused (I think ) by bad processor timing in DMX-USB interface. Sometimes it started randomly, other times when I click on another window in Windows (Win7, x64, i7, 8GB RAM, ...). After that update (3.6.31) it completely stopped working.
On the other hand, none of those issues appeared with original Monacor software.

I had the same problem. I'd solve it with buying a uDMX (Lixada Mini USB to DMX512) for 10 Euro at Ebay
