Hello,
I have a Sunlite ESA controller which works without problems with all my fixtures, except for the addressable RGB LED strip I recently bought. No matter what I do, only the first segment lights up and it doesn't react to DMX signals at all. I have checked all the cables and the strip itself, there are no problems, the voltage is right.
I think the strip must be faulty, but I thought it would be best to double check before returning it.
Have you ever had a problem like this? What else could I do?
Many thanks!
greg

If in doubt, send it back while you still can!

Thank you! So you say it's quite likely that it is faulty?

Strange, I didn't know DMX as a protocol was less reliable than midi.
