No matter how many videos and tutorials I go through I am not getting the hang of using freestyler. Is there anyone near me who could spend some time with me creating a fixture and a show for a couple of lights. If I could get to that point I think I could progress.

I'm in italy, and judging from your email, i'm not near you, anyway, I know the feeling, for me it was the same. My advice is to keep trying, at some point something "switched" in my brain, and freestyler turned from an incomprensible monster to a intuitive piece of great software...
