Antari HZ-300

I've got the fog on/off working but can't figure out what DMX channel to use for a timed haze. Anyone have a clue? The manual doesn't mention this and so far Elation has been useless.

You can pick any channel you like up to 512, as long as there are no other lights using the same dmx channel. It appears that haze machine has one DMX channel to control output. When setting up the hazer in Freestyler, you can use the Antari Z-1500 because it only has one channel also. Once you have added that hazer to your list of lights, click on the "Fogger Control" button in the menu bar of Freestyler. That will open the "Fogger Contol" window. In that window you have the option to run your haze machine on a timer. From there you can set how often (in seconds or minutes) the hazer should release, you can set the duration of the hazer's release (in seconds or minutes) and you can also set the intensity of the release (0-255). Worked great with my Chauvet HZ-1000 until the pump went out on my hazer :(

Shannon,

Thanks I'll try that. I made my own fixture for it but the timer button on the FS Fog control wouldn't work just the turn fog on/off button. I'll try the Z-1500 fixture tonight.
