What are key improvements on new FS Releases

HI. I am currently stuck on FS V3.5.4. The reason for that is that on newer versions I could not get the midi operation to work correctly. So sticking with that version for now until I know subsequent versions have that sorted. The two questions I have are:

In subsequent versions of FS is the midi problem now fixed

Is there any of the new versions that provide more cue list buttons
