I want to shoot a music video and have FreeStyler control the lights in sync with the song. Is there an easy way to do this? Is that what Go Monkey is for?
Very confused beginner here... I have a fairly simple setup--4 LED pars. I can make sequences and such but how do I sync my music and lights together?

I believe there is a virtual dj plugin that can link into freestyler, not sure if it will midi sync but I think it will audio sync. Check into that.

As far as I can tell, you need to buy a full license of Virtual DJ in order to use the plugin. And I ain't got money for a license right now.
So, I'm looking at Reaper. Reaper can have Go Monkey or Freestyler control the lights, do I understand that correctly?

I just tried something called ShowTime that seems to promise to do what I want. But it doesn't seem to work properly with the current version of Freestyler.
The Reaper thing looks really complicated. Is that the only way to do it?
