Pilot2000 via MIDI-OUT control Freestyler?

Hello. I have a DMX controller Pilot2000 and would like to control the Freestyler via MIDI-OUT and MIDI-IN ports of this controller. I have a USB-MIDI interface, but through this interface no command reaches the Freestyler. Any tips? Thank U.
