freestyler as VST for DAW

I've been searching the forum and can not find any info on freestyler as a VST plug in for DAW programs... is this a feature?
Or would I just have to send midi to freestyler from the DAW and operate both programs from the same computer.... or can I send midi from One computer to the next to control the lighting?
