Hello All,
I have recently setup a system for our live band running 16 Par 56 cans on 3 Eliminator DMX Dimmer packs and 3 Chauvet Intimidator 1.0 scanners. I am using the Open DMX USB dongle and I have terminated the end of the DMX chain at the last Chauvet scanner.
I set up some single step scenes to for my Override buttons (On / Off and Flash) and in the 3D view they work well. Last night while setting up the lights for the first time use, I had to do a bit of reconfiguration to the scenes for correct positioning of the scanners and I saved all of the scenes and saved the location. When I tried to use my overrides, they initially worked well but after a few mapped keyboard button presses, I noticed that the scanners were not positioning back to the saved locations. When I triggered the sequences, The scanners would make short movements and gradually got to the point where they would stay very close to the home position.
Is this an inherent problem with my DMX signal or is there a process to set the center position of the light before setting the scene. (ie. setting a starting point of "Center" based on the angle and position of the light?)
The pars work great so no questions on that. (Other than, is there a way to default the lights to off after activating a scene? Mine seem to want to stay on sometimes, leading me to believe that the DMX signal is not 100%.)

Re: DMX / Chauvet Intimidator 1.0 Pan Issues
Well, just an update. Our first outing with my light setup and Freestyler went very well. We had a sound tech who doubled as my light tech. I basically set up the lights to operate with Override buttons and programmed the laptop keyboard buttons to trigger the buttons. What I was able to determine was that I had set my Intimidators Pan as inverted so that the 3D view would follow the pan / tilt movements. This caused the lights to move in the opposite direction than I had programmed within Freestyler. I assume that I need to set this in the 3D viewer instead of the Freestyler application? The only problem I have is that if I do not set them to Invert Pan / Tilt, it makes it more difficult to program a scene in the 3D view.
