I am looking for some ideas on trying to troubleshoot a somewhat random issue I've been having where FS stops responding in Windows. Any chases I'm running stop, but fixtures running on a macro keep going.
I'm running FS X2 with a DMXKing controller on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, but I was having this issue on the previous version as well. I am also running VirtualDJ 7 with the SBDJ lighting plugin.
I can run at multiple events for days on end without an issue, and then suddenly one day FS will stop responding within Windows multiple times over a few hours, sometimes crashing within minutes of restarting the software. Everything in the setup chain is exactly the same with each event I do.
Is there a debug mode or something I can run FS in so that I can see what happened next time I run into a "crash day"? Has anyone else run into similar issues here?
Freestyler stops responding.

Re: Freestyler stops responding.
You could try the following if not already done so:
Option 1:
Check that the standby option is disabled on the USB ports.
If not then disable.
Restart computer.
Option 2:
Back Up Show.
Fully uninstalled Freestyler then restart, then install again ensuring you are using a user that has full admin rights to the computer.
Also is the DMX King unit you are using a USB? If so how long have you had it and how often has it been in use?

Re: Freestyler stops responding.
I will check the standby option... failing that a uninstall /reinstall might be worth trying. I have only done upgrades.
The DMXKing unit is USB - I've had it a couple of years now and have been using it weekly.
