ADJ Sweeper Beam Quad Problem

Post by Misty69 »

Is anybody using American DJ Sweeper Beam Quad LEDs? I built a 39 channel profile, and everything seems to be working right, except I can't seem to program a slow sweep using fades in the sequencer. They'll move using "snap", but if I play back a sequence of tilt moves using "fade", they just don't move. The built-in movements (and movement speed channel) work fine, I just can't program my own.

Any tips?

Thanks!

I have the very same problem with a new Sweeper Quad I bought yesterday, I tried everything but nothing seems to work. Snap sequencing works, faded movements don't. Is this a fixture problem or fixture profile/software problem ? Is there a solution ?

Any help will be appreciated!

What happens if you use snap movements in freestyler, but 'movement speed' of fixture reduced to produce the fade?

Hej

I just had a look at the fixture file and I can see that only the tilt channel is configured.
In the version of FS I use the movement panel don't appear.
Is this the same for you and if so then how do you then control the tilt. Faders in right side of FS ?

You can open the DMX monitor panel in FS and then have a look what happens on the tilt channel.
You can see if the send value fades or just snap to the next value.

@ Spud1511: When I use snap and play with the tilt speed it doesn't make a difference. It just snaps and won't fade.

@Jan: The movement panel does not appear in my version either. I use the right faders for tilting. When I look in the output the tilt value stays 0 when playing a sequence, if I manually control tilt the values are showing. It's like tilt fades are ignored in sequences.

I already send a bug report and Administrator is going to look into it :)

Thanks for your reactions so far!

Hej

I have moved the tilt channal to the gobo panel.

If the error is due to a partly not configured pan / tilt channal then this one should remove the error.

Please try this one.
