Hi,
first of all, I'm no lighting expert, actually I dont know much about it.
I'm a stage performer and for a new piece I bought 8 wireless controllable LED Pars (http://www.highlife-solutions.ch/index. ... n-1-detail). I also bought a Unique 2 Hazer, an ENTTEC USB PRO MK2 and a wireless transmitter (http://www.thomann.de/de/eurolite_quick ... 78cbd928d4). (Yeah I got help from a pro on what to buy).
What I want to do is to program a show with and to music. Best case would be to push one button on a laptop backstage and the whole lightshow and music would run cued perfectly.
Now my question is if this is possible with Freestyler? I've got the fixture files and can controll the lights when wired but having trouble to get the wireless running.
I'm looking for help, there is an option I can pay someone to really explain and guide me trough the programming. Genral advice on how to handle this project is greatly appreciated, looking forward to your replys.

Check out the freestyler wiki, you have options like midi control, or network app, so you could be anywhere with iPhone/ipad and I think now android device?? on the same wifi network as computer can trigger it.
To run cues for a predefined amount of time or in a 'stack' check out gomonkey, or use your favourite audio software plugin. I use plugins with VDJ, but they exist with ableton live, and virtually anything that can send midi.
As for wireless, read the transmitters manual and look for exactly what frequencies it can transmit. Do the same for the receivers. Make sure you have selected to transmit a frequency that your receivers are capable of receiving as there are several available in the 2.4GHz range. The manual will tell you how to select the one you want.

What do you mean by program a whole show? You mean start at 7 PM and finish as 11 with some patterns in the middle that you preset?
Or do you mean, you hit a button and it loops through a series of predefined patterns until someone shuts it off?
First one, good luck if you miss a cue at 9PM, second, more sustainable since there are no bounding issues.

Gomonkey follows a sequence you create. And can loop, halt at given point to wait for user to advance etc. but if you want to know more on that it's creator Mattotone can be found on these forums...
