I control some moving heads, colorchangers and PARs. I set to button 1 some color on color changer and make it "Flash button". Then I set for this button hotkey the "a" key. When I run some automatic move on the heads and then I press the button directly or press the "a" key, the move of heads stops. Where is problem?

Hello (always allowed..),

How are your heads moving? It has to be a scene started with a cue to work properly.
Also check the scene you assigned to the button: pan and tilt (and everything else except the color channel) have to be off , color to snap, and scene has to be in transparent mode. Also check that ONLY the color changer is selected when you create the scene, not other fixtures.
If done like this, it should work fine.

Hello. I have this same problem too and really want to find a solution to it. I have used many older versions of freestyler and the problem is also in the newest one. First I thought that it's a known bug but when I watched the tutorial about using cues and that auto moving function i realized that there it's working ok.

Sometimes there is no enough time to program movings so its very useful if its possible to use that auto (pan/tilt) function. (1. open program, 2 select moving head or scan fixtures, 3. click Pan/Tilt shortcut, 4. click "off" button so it'll change value on and will start to move movings automatically.) It's very great when it works. When you have put it on you can chance gobos, colors etc. and everything will work great.. until.. you press sequence to start it to run seq from cue list or sequence to start it to run seq from programmable override buttons menu or cue to start it to run it from submasters menu. When I do so the movings will stop immediately.

I want to use those sequences because I'm using LED-Pars. I've pre-programmed some colors for them. Those sequences don't do any changes to moving head channel values. The problem is not only with the one fixture.. it happens with Mini Mac, SC-240 scanners, MAC 250 moving heads etc.

What could be _the_ solution?

are you creating static or transparent scenes?

I have tried both. It seems that in static mode it'll change every moving heads channel values to 0 but in transparent mode it just stops and leaves those values what they are at the same time when clicking sequence.

And I'm 100% sure that in those sequences I've now tested every other channels are in off position except one led par that I'm using in this test.

I think the shapes stuff is not designed for "live" use as you explain it but only for using it in scenes/cues as I explained at the beginning of this topic.
