Got all my fixtures in and responding but overwhelmed + lost

Post by yubu_sosoa »

In the rig I have the following lights inline connected with DMX:

3xPAR 64
6xPAR TRI7x
4xaddtional smaller PAR cans
2xSpot lights
2xMEGAbar RBG 50
1xMegabar RBGA
1x Radius 2.0 dance light

I've been reading and rereading the wiki but it seems more meant for moving fixtures which I don't have.

I have a few goals 1) To create a few (or maybe just one) light programs that I can loop together for most of a dance performance. Ideally they would fade into each other. 2) Create a minimal light show the with just spots. 3) create a colorful contrasting set using the dance lamp in addition to some other lights.

I want to stick with a few colors (not a problem with the PARs using Jels) for the TRI PAR LED cans.

How would you guys approach this?

The things I'm have the most trouble with seem basic but my brain is in knots. Thanks! :?

I'm not quite sure what your asking? Are you asking how to create simple scenes, or something else?
