(SOLVED) freestyler vs udmx only works for 27 channels?

Hi, new to the forum, but i've searched and read everything i could find with the name udmx and with any sort of link to it. My problem is with using freestyler with udmx512. I can't get it to work for more than 27 channels. I've gotten the same setup to work with qlight controller but i really dislike the interface. freestyler is the program i would like to stick to I just need it to work for my lights.

512 dmx decoder
1903ic strip lights 150 leds done as 50 3led pixels

no matter what i've done i can't seem to make it recognize any more than 27 channels (9 pixels) which in my opinion is kind of an odd number so it doesn't really make any sense to me. any advice anyone could offer would be appreciated. I'll post more testing info as soon as i can. thanks in advance from anyone that might have any insight into how to solve this problem

Alright, since posting this, i eliminated the 512 dmx decoder, and the strip lights from the equation. I'm currently using a chauvet splash 86b for testing purposes. At this point I'm still able to program any of the channels for it up to 27, after that there's no activity from the channel. The part that messes me up more than anything is that on another program it's able to send signal enough for the full strip lights, and this won't do further than 9 pixels (27 channels) and I'd really like to be able to use this program. Somebody please help, and for that matter, please point out anything that you think i might have missed. I'm looking for info however i may find it

FINALLY got this figured out. it's been about a week for me to get this going, and with no info available, i kind of felt left out on a limb. in the end, i found the solution. http://www.illutzmination.de/udmx-api.html?&L=1 go here and there's a "download here" thing closer to the bottom of it, it doesn't show up as a typical link. By default through Freestyler it shows up as 27 channels. Download the file, open up the folder and it'll show up as a folder labeled uDMX_VB open that up, and there's a uDMX application. Click on that, open it up, and on the right hand side about half way down there's a setup button, go into that and change the default setting (which i'm pretty positive is 27) to 512. That will open up all the channels for it, and make them useable. Thank you to anyone that seen this post that gave it the time of thinking about it, or trying out their own ideas on it, and to anyone else that's having this problem, hopefully you found this faster than i did
