I just picked up 4 American DJ Xmove LED 25R's and they don't want to work with Freestyler. I created my own fixture file and still nothing. I called ADJ and they said it's probably something with the software. I can't even get the fixtures to address...they just go right into Master/Slave mode. If anyone could help I'd be grateful. Thanks

I don't know the fixture but if you don't connect any DMX signal to the fixture then you should be able to operate the fixture.
You can eventually set it to run one of the internal programs / shows.
If you are not able to do this then it is the fixture because you then don't use any SW to control it.
You should also be able to set the DMX addresses without having a DMX cable connected to the fixture.
