Pallettes

This is also something available on moving light capable lighting desks, mainly on the higher models. A palette can store information about pan/tilt settings, colour settings, gobo settings and shutter settings, iris setting and zoom settings. These are very useful. Would we be able to have say 30 palettes in freestyler.

For example. We could point all the movers at a certain point for example a door hit create a new palette, select the attributes we want to save in this case position and hit save and call it door. Then whenever any fixtures are selected we can hit the door palette and they will moev to that position. Could save a lot of time in programming! The same with colours. Select all the movers and set them all to green, hit create a new palette hit save, say you want to save the colour attritue and call it green. Select the fixture(s) you want to be green and hit the green palette. This would make programming so much easier!

Hope you understand what i mean!

that effect can be acheived using the overide buttons (see the thread somewhere were i explain that.... a recent one) lol

you can have llets say 3 colour overide buttons clicking a setup one would change ur light shows color if its setup right without the need to reprogram movements etc..... (they can be called static scenes as in just 1 scene long)

Yeah but pallette buttons have so many more uses. I can send you a link to the pearl manual which explains all about them.

been there done that worn the tshirt out lol.
I have suggested this back on the old forum and is a great idea.

i only want it so my scans will hit a mirror ball without me having to adjust each and every scene in the sequence that uses it.

Hi

Would 60 pallettes be enough?

Best regards

60 palletes would be plenty I think.

For example

10 for colour
10 for gobo
10 for position etc.

Or 60 for everything or for a mix of the above!

Thanks
