Using Macro Formulas to Create Custom Dimming Curves
Would it be possible to use macro formulas to create custom dimming curves? Say that you have a LED fixture which at 128 DMX is way over 50% real-world intensity, would it be possible to create a equation that would even out the dimming curve of the fixture in the freestyler software?

Re: Using Macro Formulas to Create Custom Dimming Curves
No i dont think so...
But why use a Formula for this..
you can also use a Differnt Range 0% to 100% = Dmx value 0 to 255. (Normal)
or use a other Range 0% to 100% = Dmx value 0 to 200..
now FS will Output Dmx value 200 if the slider is set to 100%... and 50% = Dmx value 100..
But this only works on Intensitie channels/Dimmer..
With RGB will be a other story

Re: Using Macro Formulas to Create Custom Dimming Curves
I don't want to limit the dimmable range, I want to be able to put a curve on the dimming, to correct for a fixture not dimming linearly. Lower-end LED fixtures end up appearing at 75% intensity at DMX value 64.

Re: Using Macro Formulas to Create Custom Dimming Curves
It'd be pretty simple to add.
