Is this possible with freestyler? I called blizzard for something else and asked. They said it was done with lucid. That is there software based light program. I downloaded the trial don't like the setup.Would like to stick with freestyler. I do lighting for bands and have all moving heads. I use submasters but feel very limited because there is not enough to do individual lights. Is there a fix for this? help please!

Hi,

I believe this could be done with a certain number of OR and submasters as I believe it's just positioning them where you want them and opening/closing the shutter.

you don't think this is done with something like the panning option?

Maybe so, I think it's a case of you looking at it and playing around, seeing what fits right and works well for you. Everyone is different when it comes to programming.

Looks to me like a couple of complex effects have been combined togeather. I'm not totally sure you could do this using the effects generator in FS but could be programmed manually.

I dont believe that you can accomplish that effect except with those exact fixtures. One of the great features of the "Blade" is that is has super fast motors and movements. Very few moving heads will have anywhere near that speed. You could easily do it will scanners.

That is the fixture I am trying to do this with. I have 5 on my back truss for bands. Yes they are ridiculously fast I can't put my Intimidator 350 on the truss with them cause they are no match for brightness or speed. Could you get this with the tilt wave that is in the wiki
